Traditional rubber stamps provide and economical marking device for use with a stamp pad. Rubber stamps can be made any size to suit your marking requirement. They have a tremendous flexibility over other types of stamp, by changing the type of rubber used for the die plate/text plate and ink type.

Pads for use with Rubber stamps available in various colours or dry for use with specialised inks.

Pre-Inked Stamp
A pre-inked stamp is made from a micro porous material which holds the ink in the material eliminating the need for a stamp pad. Pre-inked stamps can be made in Black, Blue, Red, Green or other colors. Pre-inked Stamps are one of the very stamp types which can be supplied in different colours on one stamp.

Self Inked Stamp
The self inking stamp has a special mount that has a built in ink pad and spring mechanism that automatically re-inks the die between impressions. Can be used with other types of ink when a dry pad is used instead of a standard ink pad. Much the same a rubber stamp, just without the need for a separate ink pad.

Pocket Stamp
Self inking stamps that are slim to allow easy pocket use. Ideal for Quality Control and product approval where the operator needs to have the stamp accessible at all times. Simply choose the size and shape you require and design you own wording and layout.

Common Seal
A medium duty desk embosser and suitable for embossing paper up to 120gsm. It can accommodate up to 30 characters and spaces around the circumference. Crests and company logos can be produced from your own black and white artwork. Depending on the complexity of the design, the die may require hand finishing.

Digital T-Shirt printing refers to the process of printing your graphic/photo/text or any type of design thru inkjet printer, then transfer the printed image into T-shirt. There are a few ways to achieve but today we are going to focus on T-shirt printing with printable PU Flex.

PU Flex is a special, stretchable material that is designed to be printed and then pressed onto the T-Shirt with heat press machine. There are essentially two types of PU flex; one for using on white shirt and another designed for other colors shirts.

PU Flex is an ultra thin reflection-free matte finish with a low heat temperature application and a patented adhesive that is suitable to be used on cotton, polyester, nylon, spandex, leather, synthetic or natural fibers.

What are the benefits of digital T-Shirt printing. 
a) Suitable for low quantity - if you need one unique or simply a few T-Shirts then this method is perfect. Many T-Shirt printing processes like screen printing require a minimum number of shirts.

b) Full color printing - Your design is printed with a inkjet printer, hence it allow as many colors as you like.

c) No minimum order quantity - Unlike screen printing has color block charges, all you need is just make your image and the size you want on the T-Shirt. Then print and press.

T-shirt printing in Malaysia
There are many methods to print T-shirt. Different methods have its pro and cons.  I have compiled following base on my research and understanding. I hope this will help those want to start up a t-shirt printing company. Please take note that following is just my personal reference, it might vary from the actual situation.

Screening Printing - Creating screens pressed up against cloth to place paint onto shirts one color per screen. Pros: cost effective, high quality, professional, durability. Cons: each color requires a separate screen, messy.

Heat Press INKJET Transfers - Print transparent inks using a computer onto a special piece of paper. Use heat to adhere the ink and paper onto the cloth. Pros: easy to print multiple colors and complex designs, does not require different colors to be applied separately, great for small orders, easily customize different shirts. Cons: works well on white shirts.

Vinyl  - Use a machine to cut out designs on special solid color sheets of vinyl. Use heat to adhere cut vinyl to adhere vinyl to paper. Pros: high quality, durability, easily customize different shirts, great for small orders. Cons: have to separate and cut out each color independently

Print Direct to T-shirt - Print inks directly onto cloth. Pros: reduces steps, patterns doesn't have heavy feel like screen printing, great for small orders, easily customize different shirts. Cons: Slow production. The cloth is the brightest part of the design: works well on white shirts.

Dye Sublimation - Dye sub is great for full color designs on white or light colored garments. It has no feel to the design but is a little trickier to master than inkjet heat transfers. Also, it tends to be a bit more expensive. You can also use this process on non textile products such as mugs, mousepads, tile, puzzles, coasters, key chains, etc.
